Alora, Julia, and Erika Weber
The Reinhart Weber Legacy Award in Skilled Trades and Manufacturing was established by Reinhart Weber’s granddaughters to honour his extraordinary life, career, and commitment to helping others. After arriving in Canada from Germany with unwavering determination, a strong work ethic, and a vision for the future, Reinhart founded Weber Tool and became a respected leader in skilled trades, manufacturing, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He was equally passionate about philanthropy and giving back to his community, leaving a legacy of generosity that continues to inspire our family. Throughout his life, he shared a longstanding connection with Georgian College and believed deeply in the importance of education, skilled trades, and empowering the next generation. Through this award, we hope to honour those values and continue his legacy by supporting students who share his dedication, perseverance, generosity, and passion for making a meaningful impact in their careers and communities.
