BWXT proudly supports Georgian College and established this award to recognize exceptional students enrolled in Welding Techniques, Electrical Techniques or Power Engineering Technology Programs. As a proud employer in Owen Sound, BWXT is pleased to support students attending Georgian College’s Owen Sound campus. We applaud Georgian College for offering programs that will assist students in their pursuit of a rewarding career.

These awards are:

1. Presented to a student attending the Owen Sound Campus in the Welding Techniques, Electrical Techniques, or Power Engineering Technology programs who demonstrates academic excellence (80% or higher) and community involvement.

2. Presented to a female student attending the Owen Sound Campus in the Welding Techniques, Electrical Techniques, or Power Engineering Technology Programs. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate academic excellence (80% or higher) and community involvement.

3. Presented to an Indigenous student attending the Owen Sound Campus in the Welding Techniques, Electrical Techniques, or Power Engineering Technology Programs. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate academic excellence (80% or higher) and community involvement.
