Curtis Copegog (Class of 2012 and 2014)

This award was established through the generosity of alumnus Curtis Copegog (Class of 2012 and 2014) to support Indigenous students at his alma mater. As a student, Curtis received awards and scholarships and would like to help to create new opportunities for current students.

The Copegog Indigenous Community Award of Excellence is presented to a graduating student from the Indigenous Community and Social Development program that self identifies as being of Indigenous ancestry. The recipient must also demonstrate community involvement with a letter from a community member, Elder, Knowledge Keeper or Indigenous organization they are affiliated with. The recipient will demonstrate how they have persevered in life and their commitment to Indigenous culture, traditions and contemporary issues. The recipient must hold a GPA of 75% or more. The recipient must demonstrate financial need.
