David and Nancy McCullough and Craig Wallwin

This bursary was established through the generosity of David and Nancy McCullough and Craig Wallwin in memory of their mother Verdi Wallwin. Verdi Wallwin graduated from the Registered Nursing Program at Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) in Barrie Ontario in 1953. Verdi was very proud and dedicated to her role as a Registered Nurse. Our mother was a supporter of RVH in many capacities throughout her life.

We are honoured to be able to provide this bursary in our Mother’s memory to help others achieve their goals in the Nursing profession.

The bursary is presented to a Georgian student entering into the Bachelor of Science – Nursing degree at the Barrie campus, who demonstrates financial need.
