Georgian Yacht Club

The Georgian Yacht Club Scholarship was created to encourage first year students to continue to enter the field of marine engineering while supporting our local Georgian College Campus site. The yacht club members have a long history of being part of the community on the north part of the Great Lakes from a historical as well as a recreational aspect. We salute young women and men who wish to carry on this noble profession.

Be proud of your choice in this profession steeped in the heritage of the Great Lakes System. Good luck in all your endeavors.

Presented to a deserving first year student in the second semester of a Marine Studies program (including Marine Technology – Navigation, Marine Engineering Technology, and Marine Engineering Management) and studying at the Owen Sound campus. Deserving student will be chosen based on academic standing (semester one GPA).
