Honda of Canada Mfg. is one of the largest employers in Simcoe County, with 4,200 associates. Established in Alliston in 1986, it’s a premier manufacturing facility best known for producing the Honda Civic and CR-V. Honda is a proud employer of many Georgian students and alumni.

Honda of Canada Manufacturing Endowed Scholarship
Presented to a second year Engineering student in either Environmental Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Recipients must demonstrate academic merit (minimum 70 per cent GPA) and financial need. Student must be a permanent resident of Ontario.
Honda of Canada Mfg. Co-op Scholarship
Presented to a student passionate about completing a co-op work term with Honda of Canada Mfg. or Honda Canada Inc. Applicants must demonstrate academic merit (GPA of 70 per cent or higher) and will describe their desire to pursue a co-op work term or full-time employment opportunity with Honda and how the opportunity would enhance their current skills. Students who have completed a co-op at Honda are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to students that self-identify as Female or Black or Indigenous.
Honda of Canada Mfg. Diversity Entrance Bursary
Presented to four students entering any Skilled Trades, Engineering and Environmental Technology, Business and Management, Health, Wellness and Sciences or Computer Studies program at any Georgian campus. Students must self-identify as Female, or Indigenous or Black.
Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) Associates Scholarship
Presented to five students entering their first year of any diploma or degree program at Georgian College. Applicants must indicate their relationship to a Honda of Canada Mfg. associate or retiree, demonstrate community involvement and passion for their current field of study.
Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) Honda Allyship Award
The Award is presented to five students entering their first year of any diploma or degree program at Georgian College. Applicants must indicate their relationship to a Honda of Canada Mfg. associate or retiree and submit a written summary (maximum 250 words) expressing what equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging in the auto industry means to them.
