The Craig Bagshaw Memorial Award

The Craig Bagshaw Memorial Award was established through the generosity of Jim and Pat Bagshaw alongside family, friends and loved ones in memory of Craig Bagshaw. Craig was a Senior Technical Consultant with Telus Corporate Office. He was a passionate and energetic individual who believed that every challenge was an opportunity. He had a “Can Do” attitude and never gave up till he found the solution. His belief was if you were a dedicated and hard working individual, you would be successful in your career. Craig had a heart of gold and always was willing to help others along the way; that was the reason it was decided we set up a Legacy Scholarship in his name to keep his memory alive and to provide an opportunity for a worthy student.

This Award is presented to a student entering the Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Degree with Computer Programming Diploma in the Lakehead-Georgian partnership program. The recipient will demonstrate academic excellence (min 80% GPA, based on entering grades) and demonstrate financial need.
