Ann Ward-Paige

This award is in honour of Nigel Ward-Paige. Nigel was a dedicated teacher and coach of the Cross Country Running Team at Georgian College. His love of competitive running motivated him to re-introduce the Cross Country running team when he joined Georgian in 1997 and gave him a platform to encourage students in his sport throughout his career with the college. Along with training numerous athletes through the Cross Country running team, he showed great interest in supporting volleyball throughout his time at Georgian College

Nigel Ward-Paige Memorial Award
This award is presented to a student in any program, at any level of study at Georgian College who is on either of Georgian’s varsity volleyball teams. The award is presented to the over-all most improved team member who demonstrates excellent sportsmanship. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a permanent resident of Ontario.
