Algoma Central Corporation Award for Marine Engineering Technology

Presented to one second year and one third year Marine Engineering Technician cadet who demonstrates a good balance between scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, maturity and work habits and hands on knowledge of Marine Engineering Technology. Applicants must have sailed at least one work term with Algoma. Employer letter of reference is required from an employer related to his or her work experience within the marine industry. The faculty letter of reference is also required and should demonstrate his or her educational experience. Applicants must clearly demonstrate how they meet the criteria in his or her cover letter.
