Magna Women in Skilled Trades Award

The Award is presented to two female full-time students entering semester one of a Skilled Trades program (certificate or diploma) in one of the following program areas: Multi-trade (commencing in 2022); Plumbing Techniques; Welding Techniques; Electrical Techniques; or, Mechanical Technician- Precision Skills (Co-op) at Georgian College. Student recipients must demonstrate financial need and academic merit (minimum GPA of 70% based on entering grades). As part of their application, students will indicate why they are pursuing the Skilled Trades and how this Award will help them achieve their long-term goals.
