Bursztyn Family Award

The Bursztyn Family Award is awarded to a third- or fourth-year student studying in the Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing program at the Barrie Campus. Recipients will demonstrate academic achievement (minimum 75 % GPA) and financial need and illustrate, through a written submission, how they are committed to systems thinking and ‘thinking like a nurse’. Recipients will exemplify a passion for enquiry in both clinical and theory-based settings and an enthusiasm for exploring intricate physiological processes that underpin patient care. The faculty in the nursing area will select the recipient.
