The Hoffer Family Grant

Established by The Hoffer Family, who immigrated to Canada and built a successful family enterprise, The Hoffer Family Grant/Award recognizes the achievements of full-time Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing students or Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing RPN to BScN Advanced Standing Pathway (Bridge) Honours Bachelor Degreem (semester four and above) r on the Barrie Campus. Students will demonstrate academic achievement (75%) and financial need. Preference will be given to students who have immigrated to Canada and students must demonstrate their official immigration status as part of the application process. If there are no immigrant applicants, student recipient must be a permanent resident of Ontario. As part of the application, students will describe how they will maintain personal health and wellness amidst the demands of their nursing career and demonstrate on their practices contribute to their effectiveness and resilience as a nurse. This Award is renewable in the recipient’s following academic year.
