Driving Excellence Award
The Canadian Ford Dealers & Affiliates Pension & Financial Wellness Program in partnership with Ford of Canada celebrates 30 years of providing a retirement savings program. Committed to excellence in the industry, the Award seeks to commemorate decades of achievement and innovation and propel the next generation of automotive leaders forward.
The Award is annually presented to a full-time student(s) studying in one of the following Automotive Business School of Canada programs: Automotive Business (Co-op) diploma (students in their third or later semester), or the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Automotive Management) (Co-op) degree program (students in their fourth semester or later). Recipients will demonstrate academic excellence (minimum 80% GPA) and demonstrate financial need.
As part of their application, applicants must qualify their passion for the industry and explain why human resource practices and compensation structures are essential tools for recruiting and retraining leaders in the retail automotive industry. In answering this question, the applicant will imagine themselves as a general manager or dealer principal in a future career and speak to how they would utilize these tools to support business success.
