Walker Wood Foundation Indigenous Award
Established by the Walker Wood Foundation to help address the critical healthcare workforce shortage in regional communities, this Award is presented to a full-time entrance student, direct from high school, who is enrolled in Georgian’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (HBSN) degree program. This Award will go to outstanding, passionate students who demonstrate financial need, academic merit (minimum 70% GPA), community involvement and self-identify as having Indigenous ancestry. This Award is renewable for years 2-4 of the HBSN program should the recipient maintain a minimum 70% GPA.
