Toronto Hydro Leadership Award

Presented to students who are enrolled in any year of the Electrical Engineering Technology program or the Electrical Engineering Technician program who demonstrate academic merit (70 per cent or higher) and who have completed, or are currently completing, a co-op placement at Toronto Hydro. The recipients must demonstrate a strong interest in the utility profession and pursing a career at Toronto Hydro. Preference will be given to applicants from the Greater Toronto Area.

Toronto Hydro seeks individuals who embody their core competencies of Build Strong Relationships; Demonstrated Customer Focus; Develops Culture and People; Champions Change Productivity and Innovation; Demonstrates Commitment to Sustainability, Environment, Health and Safety; and Drives Results and Accountability.

Recipients of the award may be eligible for annual renewal based on criteria requirements. Recipients will be invited to re-apply and to be considered, must submit an application each year that includes a cover letter outlining how continued support would benefit them. Renewal of this award is at the discretion of Toronto Hydro.
